A Colorado Springs native and cornerstone of the firm since 1983, Rob specializes in high-level tax, business and estate planning strategies. With an LL.M. in Taxation and decades of experience, he focuses on finding straightforward, conflict-free solutions for families and business owners alike. Rob’s deep-rooted commitment to the Front Range is reflected in numerous leadership roles over his career including among these past Board Chair for Peak Vista Community Health Center. He combines national level experience in tax, business and estate planning law with a lifelong dedication to the community that defines the Sparks Willson legacy.
Mr. Willson is a native of Colorado Springs. After law school, a Master of Laws in Taxation and a short stint of practice in Denver, Rob returned to Colorado Springs to join Ken Sparks’ law firm in 1983 as a business and tax lawyer. His practice focuses on business and tax matters and estate and business planning. Rob’s primary focus in all matters is to help the client choose the best and most straight-forward way to accomplish goals and avoid unpleasant conflict, especially with taxing authorities or among family members.
Community involvement has always been a big part of his life, and includes past leadership roles with West El Paso Baseball, Colorado Springs Swim Team, Greccio Housing, Unlimited, Silver Key Senior Services and Peak Vista Community Health Center which serves over 90,000 residents of central and eastern Colorado.
